I liked my SAR B6 before I did anything to it. I use it as my sidearm for survival and tactical training. Since my main firearm of choice is a 1911, I had wished that the trigger on my Sar could be more like a 1911. This kit did the job! I am amazed at the difference. Before, double action was hard and would often affect my first shot. Also, the trigger felt a bit gritty. Now, I am able to stay on target easier and the trigger is so much smoother. Thanks a million Galloway Precision!!

Brandyn, you made this look real easy which shows your expertise!
This was a Great video with great results. My only issue was the trigger pin. I drove it right to left but it was installed the opposite way. Not a real issue. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

    Thank you, Barry D.

I put this in my EAA Witness. Went in with minimal swearing, trigger return spring was a little trying. Went to the range today and wow!!! Smooth and much lighter both da and SA. I don’t like the curved stick trigger, but it shot as smooth as my cz75b omega. Well worth the time and money.

Installed the spring kit per online video. Well worth the time and effort! Very noticeable difference in the trigger pull and break on my SAR K2 45. Chased a couple of springs but was well warned in the video. My carelessness. Did 2 pistols and used all the springs in the kit. First took 30 mins. 2nd between 10 and 15. I chose not to drive out the trigger pin completely and that worked fine. Just enough to free the return spring and trigger bow.

Installed in a K12, I polished all parts I could as well as installing the spring kit and broke all edges on the trigger bar.... I probably would not replace the sear spring when I do the "X" model (lucky I found it after it went flying 4 x's)... Trigger is a consistent 2+ to 2.5#'s ..The pistol has been very lightly fired at this point, it probably will get even better. As others have said, the plunger spring is the biggest improvement. I ordered a 2nd. kit if the "X" model shows up... Worth the $$$$' Mike

I have a CM9, I am thrilled with the improvement of the trigger after installing this. Thank to the video I was also able to install the kit without any issues. I have been to the range a few times since installing the kit and I am so pleased with the improvement and smoothness of the action now I would do it again. Since I will at some point purchase another SAR, one of the full size 9mm's I would install this kit in that as well if it's applicable. The trigger was tolerable before, now it's ...like buttah. If you have one of these, you owe it to yourself to purchase this kit!

Also I want to thank the folks at Galloway Precision, they were quite helpful and quick to respond to my questions via email. I am looking forward to purchasing additional upgrades for my other pistols from them.

Definitely works for the 2000, as you would expect from the K-12 reviewers. The 2000 ST had a decent enough SA pull from the factory, but the DA was too heavy for practical use. I experienced a broken factory trigger return spring with less than 400 rounds fired and a good bit of dry-fire practice. In my experience of talking to SAR USA, I'd say they have a good ways to go on customer service. The recoil spring is really only suited for light 115 gr. loads. Standard loads eject at least 15' and I mostly use 124 and 147 gr. loads and carry +P, so obviously that's a concern which I wish I could have solved with Galloway who has become my Go-To for custom parts. I used to own a CZ P-01 that developed a really excellent DA trigger pull. And one of the benefits of the CZ's and clones like the SAR 2000 ST is that that can be placed on safe with the hammer at the half-cock position that shortens the first pull if you decide to use that mode. After the Galloway kit was installed, the SA trigger is probably as good as a nice 1911 trigger and the DA is as good or better than what I had with the P-01 and several thousand dry-fires combined with the live fires. Honestly, when I look at new pistols now, one of the first questions I have is "does Galloway make custom parts for it?"

This kit was just what I needed for lowering trigger pull weight. On my Sar K12 sport the trigger pull went from “stock 4.5lbs” to roughly 3.5lbs with this spring package. The video was a great help and the whole job took just under an hour. Like another review stated the safety roll pin on the sport model is extremely tiny and difficult to remove without a ~1/32 Punch (only on ambi safety). One note as stated in the video is that the trigger plunger Spring is dropping most of the excess pull weight, and I probably would have been satisfied with that alone. All in all a great kit with nice springs. Thumbs way up!

I recently picked up one of the first K12 Sports to become available, and took a chance that this spring kit would fit. I'm happy to say that it does! The instructional video was also very good, though I nearly lost the magazine release detent (it's tiny!) and ended up installing the trigger return spring by holding it in place with pliers and then my 3/32" punch rather than using a vise. I also had to make a 1/32" punch out of an old dental tool to take out the tiny roll pin holding in the right side safety lever, which is unique to the K12 Sport.

The trigger was already extremely crisp and the pull was at about 4.5lbs from the factory. I took the time to polish the usual parts while it was in pieces, and now it's even smoother, with the pull around 3.5lbs. Would have liked more, but I expect that'll improve some over time as the gun gets worn in.

Overall, I'm very happy with this, and could not have pulled it off without the video. I'll be shopping here again.
